Executive Director Now Full-Time

Randel Frederick is now full-time as Executive Director of For the Good of the Kingdom (FGK). Randel had been serving in this position as a volunteer since 2000. FGK is a peacemaker ministry to churches and their leaders. Our ministry teaches individuals and congregations how to maintain their focus upon Christ, His Kingdom, and His purposes. Specifically, (1) FGK offers conflict management and mediation for churches and ministers; (2) we can help assess the substantive issues that contribute to conflict; and (3) we also offer suggestions that provide helpful and positive recommendations for reconciliation and restoration.

New Director Added to FGK Board

Ralph Urmson has been selected to serve on the For the Good of the Kingdom Board of Directors.

Ralph has served with the First Christian Church, Columbiana, OH, as a Sunday School teacher, deacon, and elder. Ralph has also filled the pulpit at Columbiana and other area churches and continues to do so when given the opportunity. He now serves with the Lake Mount Church of Christ in New Waterford, OH, where he is an adult S. S. teacher.

As a member of our Advisory Team, Ralph has assisted with congregational assessments by teaching lessons appointed him by FGK and assisting with interviewing.

Brother Ralph Urmson has been known for many years by many as a brother true to the Scriptures and faithful to the local church he attended. We welcome him aboard as our newest director!

FGK Receives IRS Recognition

After several years of operating under the auspices of local congregations, FGK has been granted our own 501(c)(3) recognition from the Internal Revenue Service as a public charity.

We are, however, running severely low on funds. Donations are appreciated. The churches reimburse us for our expenses in working with them. However, we have other expenses, such as office supplies, printing, and travel expenses and supplies for promoting this ministry.

None of our personnel receive any salary. We do need at least one full-time person for this ministry, but the funds are just not available for that.
